Restoring the Royal Designation

"To commemorate the Canadian navy's centennial in 2010, we the petitioners call upon Parliament to resume usage of the Royal designation, and to build upon the success of our unified and integrated Canadian Forces by celebrating the unique and proud heritage of its distinctive elements"

  2. I did not realise that the Blue Ensign was the RCN jack. I thought it was the White Ensign?

  5. Thanks for sharing the link, Matt.
    I have a small sewn White Ensign hanging in the corner of my class with the words "Canadian White Ensign" along the hoist.
    The site is incorrect in its representation of the blue ensign post 1957 as, along with the red ensign, the harp lost its female representation and the border of the Scottish arms was erroneously reduced to one band.
