ReplyDeleteThough I agree with such a law, I've always thought that doing it unless they "have to" (i.e. if, say, Prince William's first-born was a girl) would lead to many statements like that. Such a change needs a rallying point, like a newly-born princess.
ReplyDeleteassumption 1: her majesty is separate from the human race.
ReplyDeleteassumption 2: that is a bad thing.
assumption 3: the values of the human race in their present form are superior to the traditional values of her majesty.
assumption 4: her majesty therefore is in desperate need of reform in order to rejoin her peoples and integrate as far as possible into the human race.
