The Lieutenant Governor of Quebec

The Lieutenant Governor of Quebec, The Hon. Pierre Duchesne, is received by The Queen at Buckingham Palace, 9 October 2008. His Excellency was accompanied at the audience by Madame Ginette Lamoureux.

  1. Unless "things" have changed, the Lieutenant Governor of a province is styled "His Honour."

  2. The palace, in my experience, tends not to use "His/Her Excellency" or "His/Her Honour" in describing people. I've no idea why that is, though.
