During the blitz, Hitler called her "the most dangerous woman in Europe." God rest this grand lady whose nobility of character was even greater than her nobility of blood.

Memory Eternal!

Thank you for the post!

I don't have any gin here, which would seem somewhat more appropriate, but I have a nice bottle of 15 year old highland Scotch, and I'll definitely toast the Queen Mum tonight.

May she rest in eternal peace.

I was 13 when Her Majesty died, my community was saddened at her passing, her funeral was broadcast live on New Zealand TV, on a school night (started at 11pm if I remember rightly) and my entire class stayed up to watch it, including the teacher, it was then when I decided I am a Monarchist.

I’ll join you Lord Kitchener, in a toast to her Memory.

Could there be any other contender for title "Woman of the Century"?
"The princesses will never leave without me; I will not leave without the King, and the King will NEVER leave."
