Ah yes, the old penny-farthing.

I've always wanted the pleasure of trying to ride one. Provided you are able to mount it, I have it on good authority that you can go maddenly fast as a result of the oversized forward wheel.

I have always wanted one, but with my balance a penny farthing would be fatal.
Does anyone else think that the lady in the foreground looks far more attractive wearing what she is than she would wearing whatever sartorial abortions modern fashions inflict upon us? What is the source of the picture?

Wonderful old print.

The comment about cars and television is well taken, but I will not have a bad word said about the old Bentleys.
