The Imperial State Crown is beautiful for all it represents. But I am not sure it is wise for the Queen to be turned into a tour guide. She appears a little bit too accessible. Wouldn't it have been better for a professor or the person responsible for the day o day protection of the crown to talk about it on camera? Of course, if this talk was something the Queen wanted to do, then, of course, that is a different matter.
Having said that, I am thrilled to learn that one of the gems was worn by St. Edward. (His relics, for some strange reason are in the custody of my church instead of the C.of E.
